Michelle Beekman, RG, PG
Michelle a vice president and the director of environmental services at Matrix Environmental Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Matrix Design Group, Inc. A registered professional geologist with more than 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting field, Michelle’s emphasis is on environmental investigations and remediation that promote property redevelopment. Michelle has a wide-ranging knowledge of environmental issues and specializes in program management of multidisciplinary environmental projects for private and public sector clients.
Michelle has extensive experience in contaminated property redevelopment, including due diligence, cost modeling, evaluation of environmental opportunities and constraints, voluntary cleanup plans and consent order negotiation, investigations and remediation of hazardous materials and munitions and explosives of concern (MEC), insurance placement, contractor management, regulatory interactions, and project closeout.
She is an expert in designing and implementing environmental programs at closed or closing military bases and airports. She is knowledgeable in environmental regulations including CERCLA, RCRA, and voluntary cleanup programs, and has experience in community relations activities for public and private sector clients.
