Land Development Engineer

• Design land development projects with experience in both residential and commercial site development, prepare and process construction plans for approval.
• Prepare grading, paving water, sewer plans and drainage reports using AutoCAD, LDD, and Civil 3D.
• Prepare supporting calculations, construction specs, and permitting in various jurisdictions. Experience with major Denver Metropolitan municipalities, CDOT, and CDPHE is preferred.
• Responsible for client deliverables.
• Work within defined scope, schedule and budget parameters.
• Communicate as appropriate to director of land development and project team concerning questions, concerns, progress and results.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and locations as necessary.
• Assist with proposals and client management as necessary.
• Perform business development activities and maintenance of positive client relationships.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in civil engineering.
• Colorado PE or EIT with ability to obtain PE within one year of employment.
• 5-10 years experience with an emphasis in land development.
• Competency in AutoCAD, LDD, and Civil 3D
• Ability to take direction and work independently.
• Outstanding communications and presentations skills.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
