Matrix Design Group is pleased to announce the additions of Vanessa Spartan, AICP as a Senior Planner in the Phoenix, AZ office and David Wilder RA, PMP, as Senior Program Manager in the Washington D.C. office.                

Vanessa Spartan, AICP is committed to creating a sense of place within communities. Her career has focused on program research and long-range planning with significant experience in multimodal transportation planning, community planning, urban design, environmental planning, graphic design, and public outreach and communications. Vanessa’s experience as an adjunct faculty member has brought added value to clients both as a meeting facilitator and in preparing guidebooks and manuals. Vanessa holds a degree in urban planning and design and is an active member of the American Planning Association (APA), the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP), and serves on a university advisory board in their Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design. Vanessa’s project experience has spanned 24 states and touched all levels of government including projects for city, county, metropolitan/regional, tribal, state, and federal government agencies.  We are extremely pleased to bring her national community and transportation planning expertise to our clients.

David Wilder, RA, PMP brings to Matrix and our clients more than 25 years of diverse management experience in the Planning, Programming, Design, Construction, Operations and Maintenance, and Real Property Acquisition and Divesting industries.  David is a proven leader in implementing initiatives to support policy and program / project goals and business strategies.  As a Service Liaison to the Director, Office of Economic Adjustment, and a three time Commander in the US Air Force, David managed large-scale planning, design, and construction programs for military installations throughout the US, Italy, Japan, and the Middle East.
