Matrix Design Group, Inc. is providing construction management and oversight inspection services to Granby Realty Holdings LLC and Headwaters Metropolitan District for: road construction, dry utilities installation, wet utilities installation, drainage features, and underground water tank construction for numerous fillings at the trendy four-season ski and golf community spanning 5,000 acres of alpine landscape with property that includes SolVista Basin ski area. The development is located on the east side of U.S. Highway 40, 15 miles north of Winter Park, 70 miles northwest of Denver. Significant portions of the development are designated open space in perpetuity and managed by the Granby Ranch Conservancy. Each home owner is a member that oversees the ranch, its 600-acre elk preserve, and its open spaces throughout the property.
Matrix is involved with post construction analysis of complex drainage issues and geotechnical performance, relative to contract descriptions at the site. Competent analysis and third party perspective gives Matrix a unique ability to resolve construction issues arising from the demanding mountain terrain. Scheduling and timely execution goals were met to optimize the areas short construction season and alternative contracting methods were introduced by Matrix to the client, resulting in additional work being performed at the site during the construction season.
Matrix provided comprehensive construction inspection services for Granby Ranch, including daily construction reporting, scheduling, cost reporting, full inspection and contractor oversight for the Owner. Services also include ongoing coordination with the Town of Granby to ensure efficient project close-out. All aspects of construction management were handled by the highly competent team from Matrix Design Group, Inc.
