Matrix Design Group is pleased to welcome five new colleagues as we look forward to 2018. Matrix will continue to offer quality and timely Construction Services with the addition of a new Director. Denver Development Services has added a civil engineer to continue to support their diverse projects. In Arizona, we have added to our Development Services Center of Excellence with the addition of three new team members, including a Director out of our Phoenix office. It is an exciting time for Matrix and we look forward to the future.

Tom Berger joins Matrix as Director of Construction Services, bringing more than 18 years of diverse construction management experience, most recently as Director of Construction and Operations at Lowry Redevelopment Authority. Prior to Lowry, Tom had an illustrious career proudly serving our country in the United States Army retiring with the rank of Colonel. Tom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Denver. Tom is a native of Pennsylvania but he and his family have called Colorado home for over 20 years. We are happy to be able to offer our clients construction management services featuring the depth of knowledge Tom brings to Matrix.

Wayne Estrada brings diverse experience as a civil designer in land development to the Arizona office at Matrix. Wayne is responsible for the preparation of construction documents. He has expertise in all areas of design for development projects including drainage, utilities and roadways. Wayne earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and is registered as an Engineer-in-Training in Arizona.

John Everard, PE brings wide-ranging experience as a civil engineer in the Development Services Center of Excellence at Matrix. He is a civil engineer with project and account management experience working with private and public entities. His experience includes everything from water to transportation to federal waterways to private clients. John graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. His first project assignment includes the Sterling Ranch project.  We are extremely happy to have him join us!

Daniel Gonzalez, PE brings 17 years of diverse experience as a civil engineer in land development to Matrix as the Arizona Director of Development Services. Daniel is responsible for entitlements, the preparation of construction documents, and inspections and field observations of construction for development projects in and around the Phoenix Metro area. Daniel is his client's best advocate and represents them to the general public and to the local jurisdictions. Areas of expertise include design of wet utility, grading and drainage, and roadway design. Daniel earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University, is registered as a Professional Engineer in Arizona, and is an Approved Self-Certified Professional with the City of Phoenix. Daniel is active with the Arizona Chapter of the American Public Works Association and American Council of Engineers.

Matt Lundberg, Sr. Civil Designer, has over 18 years of experience with a wide variety of civil engineering projects, and is dedicated to exceeding client expectations in all aspects of their projects. During his career, Matt has designed infrastructure projects in support of multi-family, commercial, subdivision, municipal and utility sectors. Matt is responsible for project due diligence studies, project design and preparation of civil improvement plans, engineering calculations, engineering reports, cost estimates, preliminary and final plats, inspections and field observation of construction activities, coordinating review agency submittals, contractor coordination, RFI's and project management. Matt holds an associate’s degree in applied science from CAD Institute and is a proud veteran of the US Navy.
