Matrix staff volunteered with Habitat for Humanity helping build homes at the Ridge at Sand Creek community. Team efforts included digging and setting fence posts in concrete foundations as well as sanding and finishing of interior floors. Despite a lot of rain, our crew stayed in high spirits the entire time!

The units are part of a 90-lot, mixed-income community, and prospective homeowners participate in the building process by volunteering their own time and effort to the process. In 2019, HFH launched a five-year campaign to mobilize local Habitat organizations, partners, volunteers, and community members across the country. Through their Cost of Home campaign, they are finding solutions and helping to create policies that will allow ten million individuals to have access to stable, affordable homes.
